Although the exhibition can really play a role in promoting the development of the industry, companies can also use the exhibition to promote brands, sell products, and nurture the market, but no matter which industry, the exhibition is not as much as possible. Too many exhibitions with low quality and unknown positioning are actually a serious waste of resources. For the mahogany furniture industry, what is most needed is a professional exhibition that can help companies find distributors.
Display platform is really necessary
As a re-emerging industry, the mahogany furniture industry is not popular in China. Compared with other home furnishing industries, the number of dealers in the mahogany furniture market is also very limited. On the one hand, mahogany furniture products are relatively high-end, and their prices are not affordable to all consumers; on the other hand, the furniture market is affected by domestic real estate regulation and control policies and continues to be sluggish. Expanding sales is the only way out for mahogany furniture companies to get out of the predicament, and it is also a problem that must be solved for the development of enterprises. Expanding the dealer team can effectively increase product sales, but manufacturers and dealers lack channels and platforms to connect. The lack of a platform has become one of the important reasons for the mahogany furniture manufacturing enterprises' lack of sales. Therefore, the mahogany furniture market needs to build effective bridges between companies, distributors, and consumers. The media, exhibitions, and associations are promising in this regard. Extensive exhibitions with mixed results
"Exhibitions are going to be flooded!" Some people described the situation of domestic exhibitions, and various exhibitions were held throughout the country, but the results were not satisfactory. The exhibitions held in Shenzhen, Xianyou, Hengdian, Changchun and other places have not yet had a major impact across the country.
Looking at the domestic and large exhibitions, it is not difficult to see that "the concept is good, but the effect is not as expected" is the main problem in China's major mahogany furniture exhibitions. Many exhibition organizers will conduct a series of publicity activities before launching, saying that the exhibitions they organize will build an efficient trading platform for traders and buyers, and provide a broader space for exhibitors to expand their business. However, judging from the recent mahogany furniture exhibitions, the actual effect of the exhibition is somewhat different from the exhibition publicity. Some of the later exhibitions have unsatisfactory traffic and the effect is not obvious.
This shows that even with the exhibition platform, it is still difficult for enterprises and distributors to communicate. Some business owners even said that they are not interested in similar exhibitions, because many exhibitions are doing professional things under the banner of professionalism.
Be professional and more distinctive
Exhibitions in different industries have their own characteristics, and exhibitions in the same industry have different themes and characteristics due to different positioning. Good industry exhibitions must first be professional, and the quality of exhibitors, exhibitors and buyers must be high. On this basis, if it can be distinctive, innovative and interesting, the exhibition will be more attractive and the effect will be better.

At present, many cities in China are organizing exhibitions related to mahogany furniture, and most of the mahogany furniture manufacturers are optimistic about the 12th China (Zhongshan) Mahogany Furniture Cultural Expo to be held in Zhongshan in March 2014. The industry should create a unique boutique exhibition with international influence to lead the development trend of the industry. However, this requires the joint efforts of all parties in the industry.
